Delete your LeetCards account

You can permanently delete your LeetCards account and associated data directly from the app at any time. This page explains how to do it and what gets removed.
How to delete your account
- Open the LeetCards app on your device.
- Sign in with the Google or GitHub account you want to delete.
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right of the home screen.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm Delete in the dialog that appears.
The deletion is immediate. You'll be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.
What gets deleted
- Your account record
- Your email address and display name
- Your progress (completed flashcards across all topics and difficulties)
- Your subscription tier and billing cycle preferences stored in our database
- Your theme preference
What is retained
- Anonymized transaction records — required for up to 7 years to comply with financial recordkeeping regulations
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics — already disassociated from your account and cannot be linked back to you
- Crash reports — tied to anonymous device identifiers in Firebase Crashlytics and may persist there per Google's retention
Active subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, cancel your subscription separately:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find LeetCards and tap Cancel subscription
You can also cancel at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in any browser signed in to the same Google account.
Can't sign in to delete?
If you can't access your account but want it deleted, email support@leetcards.com from the email address associated with your account. We'll verify identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
