Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the LeetCards mobile application and related services provided by LeetCards LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By using LeetCards, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LeetCards. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google or GitHub account. You're responsible for keeping that account secure. You may not share your account, transfer it, or use someone else's account. Activity under your account is your responsibility.

3. License to use LeetCards

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use LeetCards for your personal, non-commercial study and reference purposes. You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Scrape, copy, or republish flashcard content
Use LeetCards to build a competing product or training dataset
Resell access or share your subscription

4. Subscriptions

LeetCards offers free content and optional paid subscription tiers (currently Plus and Pro), billed monthly or yearly.

Billing: all subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We do not handle your payment information directly.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from Google Play's subscriptions page on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
Price changes: we may change subscription prices. We'll notify you in advance via the app or email, and changes won't apply retroactively to your current billing period.
Refunds: refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy. We don't issue refunds directly except where required by law.
Free trials and offers: if a free trial or introductory price applies, the standard rate begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.

5. Content

All flashcards, explanations, code samples, and curated content in LeetCards are owned by LeetCards LLC or licensed for our use. The "LeetCards" name and logo are our trademarks. You may study and reference the content within the app but may not redistribute it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any illegal purpose
Attempt to interfere with our infrastructure or other users' access
Submit false reports, abuse our support channels, or impersonate others
Bypass paywalls, gates, or technical access restrictions

7. Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue LeetCards or any feature at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes. The service is provided on an "as available" basis — we don't guarantee uninterrupted access.

8. Termination

You can stop using LeetCards anytime and delete your account at /delete-account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. If your subscription is active when we terminate without cause, we'll provide a prorated refund.

9. Disclaimers

LEETCARDS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't warrant that the content is error-free or that the app will meet your specific needs. LeetCards is not a substitute for formal computer science education or professional career advice.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEETCARDS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $50 USD IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID ANYTHING).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeetCards LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the app, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of LeetCards after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, stop using the app and delete your account.
